Pocket Vinyl is a record player for your Apple Music library. Your albums and playlists become a shelf of sleeves. Pick one, put it on the turntable, and the needle drops. The platter spins at 33⅓, the tonearm follows the song, and when Side A ends the record flips to Side B — or waits for you to flip it, if you'd rather do it yourself.
Records, not track lists
- Browse your library as sleeves on a shelf, or flick through a crate.
- Every album gets two sides, split the way a pressing would be. Adjust the split if you know the original.
- Tap a track on either side to drop the needle there. Drag the tonearm to scrub.
- Shuffle plays each side in a random order — the record still flips.
- Crates: organize records into personal collections. They live in Pocket Vinyl only and never change your library.

I made Pocket Vinyl for my two boys, who love vinyl and the joy of putting a record on. Now they can play records anywhere, anytime. And for my father-in-law, whose wall of vinyl — thousands upon thousands of albums — showed his grandkids just how cool a record collection can be.
